The High Roller Brigade
was formed in 2008 after a handful of guys in Southern Indiana were introduced
to scenario paintball and decided there was more to paintball than just
playing shoot-em-up in the woods or doing the spray and pray ball gig
they call speedball. Shortly thereafter we began building a practice/scenario
field on a member's property to facilitate hosting our own scenario events
and introduce more people to the sport we love. The field also allows
us to invite other scenario teams for practice days.
Scenario paintball games
can take on a variety of forms and settings but we decided that our
niche would be primarily World War II scenarios and that we would field
either an American or German uniform "impression". Make no
mistake, we are NOT anal-retentive stitch-counting historical re-enactors!
We simply believe that half the fun of a D-Day scenario is staring across
your marker at what actually resembles a German defender or an American
invader.
We recognize that different
people want to participate at different levels and so we have organized
our ranks into three companies of men. Able company is comprised of
those members who are on board with both an American and German uniform
likeness and these are the members who are eligible to hold officer
rank. Baker company members have put together their American uniform
likeness and are eligible to hold NCO rank. Charlie company is filled
out by individuals who are like-minded but have not yet put together
any uniform likeness. All affiliated members pay annual dues and participate
in two or three work days per year to advance the practice field. If
you are interested in joining the High Roller Brigade, you should visit
our Mail Bag
page and fill in the contact form. We will get back to you right away.
